We sell snowmobile licenses for the following states for your convenience:

• Washington
• Idaho 
• Montana 

In Washington State, snowmobiles do not have titles. The signed registration is proof of ownership.
 

License: Please bring your registration along with a government issued identification. All snowmobiles licenses expire on September 30.

Transfer a title: Please bring the signed registration along with a bill of sale to transfer ownership of a snowmobile.

If you’re planning to enjoy the back country of Idaho by snowmobiling, you will need to purchase a non-resident snowmobile user certificate. Permits are good for one year and there are no short-term permits. The cost is $32.50 each. 

Nonresidents of Montana who plan to ride their snowmobiles in recreational areas must purchase a Snowmobile Nonresident Temporary Use Permit. The cost is $35 each.

To purchase WASHINGTON boat decals or ATV licenses, go online or come in-person.
To purchase IDAHO boat and ATV licenses, please come in-person

• Choose North Spokane Vehicle Licensing and we will process your renewal and either mail them to you or have them waiting when you arrive. Your choice. 
• If you choose to pick them up, DO NOT wait in line. Just let one of our friendly title agents you’re picking your Internet tabs or decals.

• Come to our office between 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays or 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. 
• Take a number and our staff with serve you as quickly as possible

All Washington state registered boats expired on June 30. You can renew your vessel decal six month in advance. Please bring your registration, registration number (WN) or hull identification number (HIN) and your government issued photo identification.
 

Please note: Washington State requires a mandatory boater education completion if you were born after January 1, 1955 and operate a vessel within a 15-horsepower and greater motor.

Riding any wheeled all-terrain vehicles (ATV) or Off-road vehicles (ORV) on public lands require licensing. Please bring your registration, plate number or VIN number along with your government issued photo identification. 

If you’re planning to ride your ATV or ORV in the state of Idaho, it is required that all non-resident purchase a non-resident off-highway vehicle sticker. The cost is $12
